As of October 1 customer service centres of "Rīgas satiksme" will be open until 19.00
"Rīgas satiksme" informs that as of October 1 all customer service centres will be open on workdays as usually, i.e. until 19:00, due to the fact that a majority of school pupils and students have already received fare discounts, which caused the number of customers in service centres to decrease.
The customer service centres are located at Brīvības Street 191, Brīvības Street 384b, Prāgas Street 1 (entrance from the side of the city canal), Kurzemes Avenue 137, Vienības gatve 117A (the former terminal of trolleybus No. 27 „Ābolu Street”). They are open from 9:00 till 19:00 on workdays and from 10:00 till 16:00 on Saturdays. The customer service centre at Spīķeru Street 1 is open from 9:00 till 19:00 on workdays and from 10:00 till 16:00 on Saturdays and Sundays. The customer service centre at Brīvības Street 49/53 is open from 8:00 till 19:00 on workdays and from 10:00 till 15:00 on Saturdays. To reduce queues in customer service centres, in September employees of "Rīgas satiksme" visited 129 schools, including vocational schools, Riga Stradiņš University and the Institute of Transport and Communications. They issued 7529 Pupil’s e-cards and new e-tickets to 1717 vocational school students and 3944 university students. Also in September, 2879 pupils, 2879 vocational school students and 4567 students extended in customer service centres of "Rīgas satiksme" their status granting them the right to fare discounts.
In "Rīgas satiksme" customer service centres customers can receive personalised and non-personalised e-tickets, Riga resident’s cards, Pupil’s e-cards, replace them with new ones, buy yellow e-tickets and receive information about contents of their e-tickets.
